Our custom wine tours are great for couples, families, and groups of up to six people. We’re ready to build a unique tour just for you. While you are in complete control of building your itinerary, here are some ideas of what you might enjoy. Once we have a chat, Pippa can put together a tour you'll love.
Full Day Tours
Get ready for a great day! We can make pick up time a leisurely 9:30 or 10am start. We can kick off with amazing coffee and a great view, or if you’re a late starter, we can even organise a sensible gourmet breakfast before we hit the cellardoors.
We usually recommend 2 cellar doors in the morning, lunch enjoyed overlooking the vines. After lunch it’s great to fit in 2-3 tastings which can include wineries, distilleries, microbreweries and finishing the afternoon with an indulgent cheese board, chacuterie, gelato or chocolate tasing while the sun sets.
Romantic Tours for Two
There’s no better way to celebrate a special anniversary or even pop the question than a relaxing day soaking up the vineyard views, discovering the best wines and produce and not having to deal with crowds or drive. If you book your romantic tour for two on a weekday, Pippa can make sure you slip in and out of your chosen locations like VIPs. If you’re after something truly memorable, make she’ll help you plan the perfect location and can have your favourite bubbly ready in the ice bucket! She can even pick up your gourmet hamper or picnic basket and sweep you off to a stunning place and disappear into the background until needed.
Half Day Tours
Visiting for a wedding or conference with just a little bit of time to yourself? Our Half day tours are perfect for those looking to find some new gems but don’t have all day to settle in and drink in the full Hunter Valley Experience. We can take you out in the morning or the afternoon and experience 2-4 venues (depending on how long you’d like to spend at each)
The Adventurer
Love a good mix of adrenaline with your gourmet delights? We can organise all manner of fun into the mix. Segways, archery, helicopter flights, smash rooms, go carts, & hot air balloons can be a thrilling start to your day, followed up with craft beer tastings, wine tastings and maybe a visit to some of the more picturesque lookouts. We can get you where you need to be.
Seasoned Wine Lovers
If your first love is wine and you only want to try the best, the boldest or the newest styles – that can be arranged too. With plenty of inside knowledge, Pippa can take you straight to the vertical tastings and museum tastings and arrange chats directly with winemakers.

Don’t know the difference between a pinot gris and a pinot noir but you want to get into the gourmet groove? We can put together a tour especially to introduce you to a broad selection of new wine and food offerings. Pippa’s training as a wine maker has you in great hands!

Never fear, Pippa can arrange a schedule where there are non-alcoholic tasting opportunities and everyone can still enjoy quality time together in the stunning hunter valley. Our tours are much more than just wine tasting.
Our Private tours mean that we are dedicated JUST to your group. No one else will be travelling in the vehicle with us. There’s no waiting for other guests or awkward standoffs over where to head next. You and your group alone are our priority.
We sure can, and the chances are we’ll be able to tell you the best times of day to visit your preferred wineries and cellar doors. We can also suggest additional adventures based on your taste if you like. Private tours give you complete decision making power.
This your tour so we’ll pick you up right from your door. If your friends are staying elsewhere, we can even make another stop to get all of you, and drop you safely back again to your Hunter Valley or Newcastle Accommodation at the end of the day.
It depends what sort of experience you’re after. If you’d like to tour operating wineries or do any adventurous activities, you should wear or bring enclosed shoes. Always bring a jacket in case of changing weather.
